We recommend all postgraduate and undergraduate students attend semester one orientation. There will be lots of events and workshops at our Wellington campus.

An information session for international students who have arrived early.

We highly recommend that Cube and Kāinga Rua residents come to this session so that you can join the Halls activities on Monday 17 February.

Fine art and design students - Stream and timetable help

All Design and Fine Arts students must receive their personal timetable for 2020 before semester starts. Watch this video first, if you can follow along with the video, then you are good to go. If you have any questions or if any part of this process is unclear come along to the session. Make sure you bring your student ID number and password.

Creative Media Production (CMP) - starter consultation

This session is one hour long and includes a 15-minute consultation to make sure you're all set for the start of semester. During the rest of the session, you are invited to screen-print a CMP logo on your own t-shirt. Please bring your own t-shirt (or item of clothing) for screen printing. You only need to go to one of six sessions.

Work alongside CMP staff and third year students to craft 'rapid-fire' ideas for creative media concept pitches (e.g. film, TV show, game or app). Groups will pitch their ideas to the crowd and compete for spot prizes with one winning a very special grand prize and being crowned the quick pitch winner.

Haerenga of Pōneke

A chance to really immerse yourself into your new takiwā throughout your studies. We will be going to sites of significance to mana whenua with our own guide who will share some snippets of iwi history. Spaces are limited in the vans, please come over to the Whānau room (T18) during orientation to let us know ASAP if you want to book your spot.
